About the Author

John McHale received a BS in Advertising from the University of Florida in 1988. He later earned teaching certificates in Social Studies and Physical Education and has been an educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools since 1990. John credits the various amazing students he has had the fortune of teaching – and learning from – for the past 34 years as his greatest creative influences. John has routinely been a witness to their triumphs and tragedies and thoroughly and humbly acknowledges that their honesty, openness, love, loyalty, and resilience have inspired his spirit, heightened his insight and awareness, and shown him the overwhelming beauty that blossoms during humanity’s struggles.

Currently, John is working on a critical thinking course, other non-fiction books, and even a novel. The ultimate goal of all of John’s writings is to inspire, encourage, and promote awareness of the universal bond of spirit that links all of humanity together.
